Accessibility Statement

We are committed to making Find The Breach accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or technology.

Our Commitment

Find The Breach is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We strive to continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to achieve this goal.

We endeavour to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Conformance Status

Find The Breach is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. The following areas work well:

  • Keyboard navigation — all primary features and navigation can be operated using a keyboard alone
  • Screen reader support — content is structured for compatibility with assistive technologies such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
  • Semantic HTML — pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA attributes where appropriate
  • Focus indicators — visible focus styles are provided for all interactive elements
  • Responsive design — content reflows and remains usable at up to 400% zoom and across all viewport sizes
  • Color contrast — text and interactive elements meet or exceed the minimum contrast ratios required by WCAG 2.1 AA

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the site may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to address the following known limitations:

  • Portal dashboard complex data visualisations — some charts and graphs in the security dashboard may not fully convey all information to screen reader users. We provide text-based data tables as alternatives where possible.
  • PDF reports — some exported PDF security reports may not be fully tagged for assistive technology. We are working to improve PDF accessibility and can provide alternative formats on request.
  • Some third-party embeds — certain embedded content from third-party providers may not meet all accessibility requirements. We evaluate third-party tools for accessibility before integration and seek accessible alternatives where available.

Technologies Used

Accessibility of Find The Breach relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browsers and assistive technologies:

  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • WAI-ARIA
  • Tailwind CSS

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
